The Brass Tracks Big Band Orchestra (17-pcs) features vocalist Robin Watson, known for stylings of cabaret, blues, r&b and all that jazz! North & Maple, known for their Cajun cuisine coupled with the phenomenal musicians of the orchestra is a great treat. No cover, no drink minimum, however, reservations are recommended. Summer fun!
July 12th is the 130th anniversary of Oscar Hammerstein II‘s birth. He was an American lyricist, librettist, theatrical producer, and director in musical theater for nearly 40 years. Come hear some of our city‘s finest cabaret performers do selections from his impressive canon. Co-writing an amazing 850 songs, he won eight Tony Awards and two Academy Awards for Best Original Song. Many of his songs are considered the benchmark of the Great American Songbook.

Baby Boomers Carole King, Burt Bacharch, Neil Sedaka, Lieber and Stoller and more wrote the songs of a generation in New York’s famous Brill Building. The hit makers wrote for Aretha, Ben E. King, the Drifters, and Dionne Warwick, including “I Feel the Earth Move”, “Laughter in the Rain”, “Save the Last Dance for Me”, “The Look of Love” and so many more! Presented by award winning Chicago performers Anne Burnell & Mark Burnell and their band, will bring classic harmonies, and piano and jazz arrangements to these treasured timeless songs.
