A "what if" is a fleeting moment of possibility or a long-term fixation on something or someone. And we have all had them throughout our lives. Jonathan Lewis examines these life-changing emotional puzzles in What If?", a show about choices, chances, connections, and consequences. With Beckie Menzie as Musical Director.
Join Anna Palermo for an evening of self discovery through a musical concert. We will explore the radical shift that happens when we stop merely surviving and start choosing to be present for our own lives. It is a heartfelt celebration of new beginnings with songs by Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kander and Ebb, The Beetles , Johnny Mercer and more! Beckie Menzie will be on piano with Irwin Berkowitz on percussion.
This two-hour workshop focuses on making the most of rehearsal time. There are many types of rehearsals, and each will be addressed at some level, acknowledging that not all techniques work for all individuals, and that there are several factors that impact the nature of rehearsing, whether on one‘s own, with a music director, with a band, or with an ensemble. The workshop is intended to be collaborative in nature, drawing on the experiences of the participants and the facilitator, David Meulemans. Objectives include capturing "best practices" to benefit all skill levels to provide insight on what "to do" as well as what "not to do," with each participant leaving with a personalized tool-box of ideas they feel would bring more value to their rehearsals.
