The Great Filipino Songbook at Eugene Field
Chicago’s Premier Filipino Folk Fusion band, SamaSama Project presents the Great Filipino Songbook, a bedazzling performance of the most memorable Filipino songs shaped by American pop culture from the past century. A collection of songs and stories rooted in the Philippines' intertwined history with the USA, it celebrates the Golden Age of American Song, a time when the greatest Filipino composers crafted their treasured melodies.
Indulge in a free community festival featuring Chicagoland’s finest Filipino-owned culinary delights, artisanal crafts, and cultural performances. Come early for a taste of Filipino culture and stay for an unforgettable evening of music and storytelling!
